This is a OO2 progression position as per the Role Description. The successful applicant will be appointed to the OO2 classification with eligibility for progression to the OO3 level once specific criteria have been met. Please note salary rate shown is reflective of OO2 to OO3 classification range.

About the Role

Key responsibilities:

  • Comply with current Work safe & Work place Health & Safety procedures.
  • Arrange repairs and maintenance of school plant & equipment and General property.
  • Maintain School ovals, grounds, gardens & facilities
  • Appropriate communication skills

Skills & Experience

  • Basic repairs & maintenance skills
  • Experience with garden maintenance machinery and tools
  • Willingness to learn or upskill

Work environment

  • Work autonomously or as part of an inclusive team
  • Develop connections with local suppliers and trades as necessary
  • Adhere to Ed Qld Policies, Procedures and Protocols
