About the Role
As the Schools Officer, Grounds and Facilities, you will play a vital role in ensuring the school's grounds and facilities are maintained to a high standard. Reporting to the Principal, Business Manager, or a nominated delegate, you will contribute to the efficient and effective operation of the school, supporting its academic and extracurricular activities.
Key responsibilities include:
- Maintaining school grounds, including mowing, gardening, and general landscaping tasks.
- Performing minor repairs and maintenance of school facilities and equipment.
- Supporting school events by preparing activity spaces, moving furniture, and assisting with logistics.
- Ensuring compliance with workplace health and safety requirements, including safe storage and handling of materials.
- Liaising with staff, students, and external contractors regarding maintenance and facilities matters.
