About the Role:

Responsibilities include, but not limited to;

  • Perform general operational and administrative support duties, including mail and message delivery, printing/photocopying, classroom and hall setup, furniture movement, store management, asset registers, and stock control.
  • Support school security operations, including use of security systems, locking/unlocking buildings, and transporting school funds to banking institutions as required.
  • Undertake cleaning, waste management, drainage, and event support duties, including urgent cleaning tasks and assistance with major school events.
  • Ensure compliance with WHS requirements by maintaining a safe work environment, managing equipment records, safely handling chemicals and fuels, and maintaining tools and equipment.
  • Attend to or arrange repairs and maintenance of school facilities, furniture, equipment, swimming pools, and specialised equipment for students with disabilities, liaising with relevant staff and contractors.
  • Maintain school grounds and sporting facilities, including ovals, gardens, lawns, equipment servicing, supply ordering, ground improvements, and support of agricultural field laboratory activities where required.
