About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Schools Officer, Grounds and Facilities, to contribute to the efficient and effective operation of our school by maintaining its beautiful grounds and facilities to a high standard. Reporting directly to the Principal, Business Manager, or a nominated delegate, this role involves a variety of routine and non-routine tasks to ensure the school remains a safe, functional, and welcoming environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Maintaining and improving school grounds, including lawns, gardens, and outdoor sports facilities.
- Performing general maintenance tasks, including minor repairs and upkeep of school facilities and equipment.
- Supporting school operations through tasks such as setting up activity areas, moving furniture, and managing supplies.
- Ensuring compliance with workplace health and safety standards, including safe storage and handling of materials.
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders regarding maintenance and facility-related matters.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, has a proactive approach to maintenance, and takes pride in creating a safe and welcoming environment for students and staff.
About You
