About the Role

As the Schools Officer, Facilities, you will contribute to the efficient and effective operation of the school by maintaining a high standard of facilities care and support. Reporting to the Principal, Business Manager, or a nominated delegate, you will play a vital role in ensuring the school environment is safe, functional, and welcoming for all.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Performing general maintenance, repairs, and grounds upkeep to ensure the school is well-maintained.
  • Assisting with event preparations, including setting up and relocating furniture and equipment.
  • Supporting security duties such as locking/unlocking buildings and maintaining security systems.
  • Ensuring compliance with workplace health and safety (WHS) requirements and addressing safety hazards.
  • Liaising with internal and external stakeholders regarding maintenance and facility-related matters.

This role would suit a proactive and reliable individual who takes pride in maintaining a safe and high-quality school environment.
