About the Role
As the Schools Officer, Facilities, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient and effective maintenance, repair, and operation of school facilities. Reporting directly to the Principal, Business Manager, or delegate, you will contribute to creating a safe and well-maintained environment for students, staff, and the wider school community.
Key responsibilities include:
- Performing day-to-day tasks such as delivering mail, preparing classrooms, and maintaining school supplies and equipment.
- Assisting with cleaning, waste collection, and preparation for school events.
- Supporting security duties, including maintaining security systems and locking/unlocking buildings.
- Ensuring compliance with workplace health and safety requirements and maintaining tools and equipment.
- Coordinating and performing basic repairs and maintenance of school facilities and equipment.
This role would suit someone who enjoys hands-on work, values teamwork, and is committed to maintaining a safe and welcoming school environment.
About You
