Please note salary rate shown is reflective of both classification ranges.

Who We Are:

Wondai P-9 State School is located in the town of Wondai in the South Burnett Region of Queensland.

Wondai is proud to be part of the Darling Downs South West Educational Region.

The school caters for a wide range of families with diverse backgrounds. Families live both within the town and on the outskirts on acreage blocks or farms.

A number of families travel from neighbouring towns to enrol their children at our school.

Our school caters for students from Prep to Yr-9, with our high school section of the school (Yrs 7-9) offering an array of subjects for students to engage in.

The requirements for this role to be appointed as a T02 the successful applicant must have a diploma relevant to the job role.

If the successful applicant doesn't have a diploma they will be appointed as a T01 with the hope of obtaining a diploma down the track and then progressing to the T02 category.

The Successful applicant must have a blue card, be able to solve problems, have a good work ethic and be able to work with all types of people in a variety of environments.

The Key Responsibilities are:

  • Provide advice and assistance on maximising the potential of ICT operations within the school/college, including acquisition, installation, operation, maintenance, repair and replacement.
  • Support the school community with technical advice, instruction and assistance with electronic equipment, in
    accordance with departmental, school and manufacturer's policy, guidelines and network standards.
  • Provide effective and efficient support to staff and students to resolve problems associated with school computing
    facilities, whilst ensuring high end customer focus and communication.
