Mt Maria College are looking to appoint two welcoming professionals, who are pro-active candidates for the positions of College Receptionist & Student Receptionist. These roles offer a unique opportunity to provide front-line support to students, parents and staff while contributing to the smooth operation of the administration and student services function of the College.
Both roles are part time, there is flexibility how many days per week and would suit those candidates looking to work 2, 3 or 4 days per week. Please indicate on your application how many days you are available.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide a welcoming and professional first point of contact for parents and students
- Assist with student attendance matters including daily attendance reports and contacting parents when required
- Answer incoming calls and retrieve students from classes as required
- Arrange transport for excursions and camps
- Ordering office supplies
Skills & Experience:
- Experience in a reception or customer service role in in a busy office environment
- Experience with Microsoft office programs. Knowledge of school database systems would be advantageous but not essential.
- High level interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure
- Hold a Paid Employee Positive Notice Blue Card prior to commencement
To be eligible to be considered for this role you will:
