St Brigids Catholic Primary School is approximately 20km west of Ipswich. St Brigid's Catholic School, Rosewood is dedicated to providing an inclusive and supportive learning environment for all students. We are seeking a compassionate and enthusiastic Classroom School Officer to join our team and help make a positive impact on our students educational experience.

Key duties include:

  • Work as part of our team to create the best opportunities for the students.
  • Assist the classroom teacher in managing and organising classroom activities.
  • Support students with their learning tasks, providing individualised attention as needed.
  • Help prepare instructional materials and set up learning resources.
  • Foster a positive and encouraging classroom environment.
  • Collaborate with the teacher to monitor student progress and provide feedback.
  • Work with the school leadership team and colleagues to contribute to the broader life of the school.
  • Support the Catholic ethos and values of the school.

To be eligible to be considered for this role you will:

  • hold a Paid Employee Positive Notice Blue Card prior to commencement;
  • be eligible to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment; and
  • have a commitment to and understanding of the ethos and traditions of Catholic Education.
