We are seeking a caring and professional Student Receptionist, with excellent communication and time management skills, to join our Administrative School Officer Team and Academic Staff to support the students at Mary MacKillop College.

Ideally the applicant will have experience in a Secondary College, particularly in a Student Services environment and knowledge of the Student Information System (eMinerva) would be an advantage.

In this role you will be the first point of contact for students requiring administrative assistance and first aid. You will also be responsible for:

  • Recording attendance,
  • Processing late arrivals/early departures,
  • Answering the phone,
  • Maintaining stock of first aid kits and coordinating staff first aid training
  • Train/bus bookings for excursions/sports
  • Complete WHS incident forms involving students as applicable
  • Maintenance and filing of confidential student records
  • Lost property
  • Student I/D cards
  • End of year and beginning of year processes
  • Provide back up for the College Receptionist
  • Other administrative duties as directed by the Principal and or/Business Manager to support the College.

Hold a current Working with Children Blue Card and First Aid Certificate

  • hold a Paid Employee Positive Notice Blue Card prior to commencement;
  • be eligible to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment; and
  • have a commitment to and understanding of the ethos and traditions of Catholic Education.
