St Lukes Catholic Parish school is a primary school with an approximate enrolment of 355 students. We are seeking a Library Aide to undertake a variety of tasks within our school Library. You will assist with library activities and provide information services to students across all year levels and school staff. Duties include: facilitating circulation of resources; maintaining equipment and materials; providing administration support; assisting teachers and students; and associated library tasks. You will display an understanding of the work of a library or resource centre with experience and knowledge in the use technology; proven communication and interpersonal skills; a sound knowledge of audio-visual equipment is highly desirable. We are seeking a full-time and part-time Teacher Aide to undertake a range of tasks in supporting the needs of students, under the direction of the teacher, across various year levels/classrooms. Duties include: general classroom support; preparation of resources and clearing learning materials; using technology to support learning activities and administrative duties such as photocopying. Ideally you will have; previous experience as a Teacher Aide and/or hold a minimum a Cert 3 in Educational Support; proven communication and interpersonal skills; an understanding of the work of a primary classroom and a willingness to work as part of a team. You will also demonstrate an ability and initiative to apply your skills in supporting students to achieve successful learning outcomes.
