Purpose
This role supports the Inclusive Education Team and our diverse learners both inside and outside of the
classroom. The Support Officer Inclusive Education works in a range of directed capacities from working with
students one-on-one, small groups, in class and outside of the classroom.
Accountabilities
• Support students as directed by the Support Teachers Inclusive Education (STIE) and Classroom Teachers
• Organise documents and correspondence as directed.
• Respond to enquiries and provide basic information as required.
• Assist with a range of routine activities and operations across the school.
• Maintain established systems, processes and registers.
• Print, collate and maintain materials and resources.
• Assist with arranging meetings and other school activities or events.
• Process requests in accordance with standard school and BCE procedures.
• Participate in ad hoc tasks as requested by senior members of the team.
Mandatory Requirements
• Eligibility to work within Australia for the period of appointment.
• Currently hold or ability to obtain Paid Employee Positive Notice Blue Card prior to
commencement.
Qualifications
• No tertiary qualification is required for this role but experience working with teenagers would be an advantage.
To be eligible to be considered for this role you will:
- hold a Paid Employee Positive Notice Blue Card prior to commencement;
- be eligible to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment; and
- have a commitment to and understanding of the ethos and traditions of Catholic Education.
