About the Role:

Grounds and Garden Maintenance

  • Maintain school ovals, lawns, gardens, and landscaped areas
  • Undertake mowing, watering, weeding, fertilising, and planting
  • Maintain outdoor sporting facilities and external areas
  • Support improvement and enhancement of school grounds

Maintenance and Operational Support

  • Perform minor repairs to fences, paving, gates, and irrigation systems
  • Maintain and operate grounds equipment and machinery
  • Assist with waste management and removal
  • Support agricultural or outdoor learning programs where required

Safety and Compliance

  • Follow Workplace Health and Safety procedures
  • Safely handle and store chemicals and equipment
  • Maintain a safe and tidy work environment

About You

We are seeking a proactive team member who demonstrates:

  • Experience or practical skills in grounds or property maintenance
  • Ability to operate and maintain grounds equipment
  • Strong awareness of workplace health and safety practices
  • Ability to work independently and manage tasks effectively
  • Commitment to maintaining a high-quality school environment
  • Eligibility to obtain a valid Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
