About the Role

Responsibilities include:

  • Maintain an in-depth knowledge of School Management and Learning Systems and associated modules, and provide high-level advice regarding their application as well as contemporary knowledge of the School Management and Learning Systems applications following releases or upgrades. (SFIA - TECH 5)
  • Monitor customer service and service desk functions, and collect performance data to assist with the specification, development, research and evaluation of services standards and apply these standards to resolve or escalate issues and gives technical briefings to staff members. (SFIA - CSMG 4)
  • Assist with processes related to School Management and Learning Systems major incidents and coordinate the activities of Level 1 staff during the management of major incidents: following agreed procedures, identifying, registering and categorising incidents; gathering information to enable incident resolution and promptly allocate incidents as appropriate; and maintaining records and advise relevant persons of actions taken; (SFIA - USUP 3)
  • Supervise the work of individuals and teams and allocate routine tasks and/or project work, providing direction, support and guidance as necessary, in line with individuals' skills and abilities and monitoring progress against agreed quality and performance criteria to facilitate effective working relationships between team members. (SFIA - PEMT 4)
