Salary level, range or hourly rate: School Officer Level 5 - $38.29 per hour(School Salary Scale)/(Services Salary Scale)

We are seeking a Finance Coordinator with a demonstrated working knowledge of school financial accounting, fee management, and has a friendly welcoming, caring and compassionate disposition.
Duties

  • Maintain all school financials including accounts payable, accounts receivable, supervision of petty cash, EFTPOS operation and balancing, floats for school functions, reconciliation of bank accounts, prepare monthly BAS return, undertake End of Month and End of Year Rollovers.
  • Prepare reports for the Principal 
  • Support the school administration team and assist with general office operations

Capabilities

  • Skillful negotiator and ability to liaise with the school community with empathy and respect.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

Experience

Previous experience in finance, accounting or similar will be highly regarded.
