Located in Gununa within the Wellesley Island Group in the Gulf of Carpentaria, our Kindy to Year 10 school serves a strong and proud Aboriginal community.

Your opportunity:
- Work with the school community to develop, implement and monitor appropriate programs which raise Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community awareness and participation in educational decision-making processes and which contribute to the implementation of Partnership Initiative priorities.
- Facilitate stakeholder engagement to support community co-design that meet the needs of the school and community leaders and encourage partnerships with other regional, state, commonwealth and local government officers and local peak bodies.
- Assist school leaders and school community groups with advice and strategies for effective participation in education and access to information, resources and services through place-based co-design processes.
- Provide advice on current school and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community issues and effective community consultation and place-based decision-making processes.
- Develop innovative and effective strategies for building relationships with all stakeholder and client groups as part of the Partnership Initiative.
