Veritas Education is currently working in partnership with a local school in Huddersfield to recruit a reliable and hardworking School Cleaner. This is a part-time role with consistent afternoon hours, ideal for candidates seeking stable term-time work.

The Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic school environment. Duties will include:

  • Cleaning classrooms, corridors, and communal areas
  • Emptying bins and disposing of waste correctly
  • Cleaning toilet and washroom facilities
  • Mopping, vacuuming, and dusting as required
  • Ensuring cleaning duties are carried out to required health and safety standards
  • Working independently and efficiently within the allocated time

    • Working Hours

  • Monday to Friday
  • 3:00pm - 6:00pm

    • The Ideal Candidate Will Have

  • Previous cleaning experience (school or commercial setting desirable but not essential)
  • A good standard of cleanliness and attention to detail
  • The ability to work independently and follow instructions
  • A reliable, punctual, and professional attitude
  • An enhanced DBS certificate (or willingness to obtain one)
