Location: Harrow, London

Contract Type: Part-time (3 or 4 days), Temp to Perm

Salary: £105+ depending on experience

About Us:

Veritas Education are currently seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized individual to join our client as a School Data Administrator. In this role, you will play a crucial part in managing and maintaining the accuracy of student data, supporting various school functions, and ensuring that all records are in compliance with relevant regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Management: Maintain accurate, up-to-date records on student progress, attendance, assessments, and other academic data.
  • Reporting: Generate and analyze reports for senior leadership, teaching staff, and other stakeholders as required.
  • System Maintenance: Oversee the use of school data systems, ensuring that all information is stored securely and backed up regularly.
  • Data Accuracy: Ensure that all data entered into the system is accurate, consistent, and timely.
  • Compliance: Ensure data handling and storage complies with data protection laws (GDPR) and school policies.
  • Support: Provide administrative support for data-related queries from staff, parents, and external bodies.
  • Training: Assist in the training of staff on how to use the school's data systems and software.
  • Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience: Previous experience in an administrative role, ideally in an educational setting.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in data management software (e.g., SIMS, Arbor, or similar school management systems) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail when inputting and managing data.
  • Confidentiality: A strong understanding of data protection regulations and a commitment to confidentiality.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Each candidate will be subject to a DBS and police check where required. A successful candidate will also provide at least two references from their previous employer/s.
