Total Paid Hours (per week) & days required: The role will be 27.5 hours across 4 days. It is a multifaceted role encompassing Risk and Compliance Officer (RCO) 12.5 hrs, Work Place Health and Safety Officer (WPHSO) 6hrs and general office administration 9hrs. The Part Time Continuing aspect of the role includes the 18.5 hours of RCO and WPH. The Part Time Fixed term (12 months) aspect of the role includes the 9hrs of general administration. There is the possibility of this increasing in hours and to a continuing status in the future. Days to be negotiated with the successful applicant.

Salary level, range or hourly rate: The role encompasses 12.5 hrs (RCO) on Level 5 and 15hrs Level 4(School Salary Scale)/(Services Salary Scale)

Employment conditions: Diocesan Catholic Education Employing Authorities in Queensland Single Interest Agreement

This is a multi-facetted role encompassing Risk and Compliance (RCO), Work Place Health and Safety (WPS) and general administration.  The successful candidate will be well organised and have strong communication skills.  Computer literacy will be required to learn and utlise BCE Online systems including being efficient with Windows 365 Suite.   The work of the RCO, is to support the Principal build a culture of collective ownership and responsibility in risk and compliance management for their school. The role is designed to help the Principal meet their risk and compliance obligations that is essential for student safety and wellbeing. The role of WPHSO compliments work done in the area of Risk and Compliance. The RCO supports the culture of safety within the school by building a strong awareness of safety within our school through proactive processes and systems of safety.  The successful applicant will be part of a positive and passionate administration team who are flexible and have strong interpersonal skills.  We encourage people who value working collaboratively to achieve goals to apply.
