We are seeking a talented Risk and Compliance Officer to work part time in a small, community minded Catholic Primary School in Inner North Brisbane.
The successful applicant will:
- have a good understanding of processes and practices in meeting risk and compliance requirements
- be highly organised
- be able to work successfully as part of a wider team and have good interpersonal skills
- have excellent time management skills and be able to work independently
This role will have key responsibility for:
- ensuring our school is meeting it compliance requirements
- implementation of Brisbane Catholic Education policy and procedure under the leadership of the Principal
- manage the school's Blue Card and Volunteer Registers
- assist with ensuring staff have met their mandatory training requirements
- managing third party contracts
The applicant will have access to training through Brisbane Catholic Education and access to the wider Risk and Compliance Officer Network to support them in their role.
To be eligible to be considered for this role you will:
- hold a Paid Employee Positive Notice Blue Card prior to commencement;
- be eligible to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment; and
- have a commitment to and understanding of the ethos and traditions of Catholic Education.
