About the Role
As the Religious Education Coordinator, you will work closely with the Principal and Leadership Team to provide essential educational and spiritual direction, cultivating a Christ-centered community grounded in Catholic values. This senior leadership role is dedicated to embedding Catholic teachings and perspectives throughout the curriculum, ensuring faith and learning grow hand-in-hand. You will play an active role in supporting the spiritual development and well-being of students, staff, and families, nurturing a deeper connection with God. We seek a practising Catholic who is deeply committed to the faith and its values, ready to inspire and lead our school community in this meaningful role.

Qualifications
- Bachelor of Teaching or Master of Teaching.
- Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP).
- Teaching Quality Institute (TQI) accreditation.
To teach Religious Education in a Catholic school (to be a Religious Education Teacher), a teacher must:
- Be a practising Catholic;
- Provide a reference from a current Parish Priest; and
- Have completed or be due to complete Accreditation D and E – Teach Religious Education in a Catholic school in accordance with the Accreditation to Work, Teach and Lead in Catholic Education, Archdiocese of Canberra and Goulburn Policy.
Selection Criteria
- Has experience in leading and building the capacity of staff in the Religious Education curriculum.
- Has experience in leading change and demonstrates contemporary pedagogy that focuses on improving student outcomes in Religious Education, including implementing High Impact Teaching Practices.
- Has experience in evaluating, analysing, and using data to inform learning and engage in future strategic planning in Religious Education.
- Demonstrates effective communication with a variety of stakeholders to build relationships.
- Has experience in working closely with the priests and the parish community to foster strong relationships with all parish agencies.
