About the Role
As the first point of contact for prospective families, the Registrar plays a key role in building strong relationships and supporting the School’s mission by maintaining healthy enrolments and managing the admissions process from initial enquiry through to student commencement.
This is a hands-on, high-contact role that requires exceptional organisational skills, attention to detail, discretion, and warmth in all interactions with families, staff, and the wider community.
About You
The successful applicant will be a highly organised, relationship-focused professional who is able to work independently as well as in a team environment. They are able to work under pressure and to deadlines without losing sight of details and while retaining a sense of humour. They possess a warm personality and genuine interest in supporting and furthering Waldorf/Steiner education in general and Willunga Waldorf School in particular.
Key Selection Criteria
- Experience in enrolments, admissions, or customer-focused administration, including managing enquiries and guiding families/clients through processes.
- Strong organisation and time-management skills, with a demonstrated ability to handle varying workloads effectively, prioritize tasks and meet deadlines under pressure.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships.
- Demonstrated understanding/knowledge of Waldorf/Steiner education
- Understanding of legislative requirements and policies related to enrolment, student records, record keeping and privacy.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn and adapt quickly to unfamiliar software and programs.
- Must have full working rights in Australia

Applicants must hold a current “not-prohibited” SA Working with Children Check and provide/obtain RRHAN-EC and Provide First Aid in an Education and Care Setting certificates before commencement of employment.

This is a fixed term position, commencing 27th April (negotiable) and concluding on 17th December 2026.
Remuneration is based on the current Willunga Waldorf School Enterprise Agreement and includes 6 weeks’ annual leave (pro rata).
