About the role -
FisherONE currently offers senior subjects. Many staff teaching in FisherONE are full-time BCE teachers, working in FisherONE with their Principal’s permission. It is also possible to work outside BCE in a part-time capacity. This approach to staffing allows BCE staff the opportunity to remain in their base school and to be able to teach the senior subjects they love.

Mode of Delivery:
The FisherONE model of delivery brings together the principles and practices of learning and teaching that lead to success for all learners and works on the assignment of weekly modules. Students are expected to engage in independent learning tasks and live online lessons.

Teachers are required to plan courses of work in accordance with the QCAA syllabus, create and curate teaching materials for students to complete independently, deepen knowledge and skills through synchronous lessons, connect and provide consistent feedback that supports students in moving their learning forward and assess and report according to QCAA and BCE processes. The current load is .2 FTE per class.

Additionally, there are opportunities for educators to work in a part-time capacity from home, further enhancing the flexibility and diversity of experiences available at FisherONE.

About you - Teachers require a broad range of skills to successfully teach senior subjects in an online environment including:
