Veritas Education is seeking a committed and enthusiastic Reception Teacher to join a friendly and supportive primary school in Hackney from January. This is an exciting opportunity for an EYFS practitioner who is passionate about early learning and delivering an engaging, child-centred curriculum.

About the Role

The successful candidate will take responsibility for a Reception class, creating a warm, stimulating environment where children feel confident, curious and ready to learn. You will work within a collaborative Early Years team and contribute to the school's strong, nurturing ethos.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, deliver and assess high-quality lessons in line with the EYFS curriculum
  • Create a welcoming, purposeful learning environment that supports all pupils
  • Track pupil progress and provide effective feedback
  • Foster strong relationships with parents, carers and colleagues
  • Contribute to wider school life, enrichment and teamwork

    • Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching in the Early Years Foundation Stage
  • Strong understanding of EYFS pedagogy and child development
  • Creative, reflective and committed to high standards
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
