We are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Religious Education (RE) Teacher to join a high achieving secondary school in Havering from September. This is a full-time, permanent position directly employed by the school. The ideal candidate will have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and proven experience teaching KS3, KS4 and KS5 Religious Education
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging Religious Education lessons across KS3-KS5Assess, track, and monitor student progress to support achievementCreate a positive, inclusive, and high‑expectation classroom environmentContribute to curriculum development and departmental initiativesParticipate in whole‑school CPD and wider school lifeRequirements
QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) - essentialExperience teaching Religious Education at KS3-KS5Strong understanding of curriculum and exam board requirementsExcellent communication and classroom management skillsPassion for supporting students to achieve their full potentialBenefits
