Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons to Key Stage 1 pupils in line with the national curriculum.
  • Use effective teaching strategies to promote a love of learning and ensure excellent academic progress.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback to pupils and parents as needed.
  • Collaborate with fellow teachers and support staff to create a dynamic and supportive learning environment.
  • Promote the school's values and ethos, encouraging positive behaviour and a respectful atmosphere in the classroom.

    • The Ideal Candidate:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Proven experience teaching in Key Stage 1 (Years 1 & 2).
  • A strong understanding of the national curriculum for KS1.
  • Excellent classroom management skills and a creative, engaging approach to teaching.
  • A passion for working with children and making a real difference in their educational journey.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and school leaders.
