About the Role

Are you passionate about supporting young children to learn, grow, and thrive? Veritas Education is looking for a warm, enthusiastic, and committed Early Years Practitioner to join our friendly nursery team in Bradford.

This role is open to both unqualified practitioners with childcare experience and those who hold a full Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years. You'll be helping to create a safe, fun, and welcoming environment where every child feels valued and supported.

As part of our team, you'll have the opportunity to make a real difference in children's lives, supporting their learning and development through play and hands-on experiences. If you're qualified, you may also take on key person responsibilities, building strong relationships with children and their families.

What You'll Do

  • Support and deliver fun, engaging activities that help children learn and grow

  • Encourage development through play-based learning experiences

  • Observe and assess children's progress, contributing to their learning journeys

  • Keep children safe, happy, and healthy at all times

  • Work closely with parents and carers, sharing updates and progress

  • Follow safeguarding and nursery policies carefully

  • Be a friendly, supportive part of our nursery team

  • Who We're Looking For

    Essential:

  • Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification, or relevant experience in an early years setting

  • Understanding of child development and the EYFS (or willingness to learn)

  • Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection

  • A nurturing, patient, and positive attitude

  • Good teamwork and communication skills

  • Desirable:

  • Paediatric First Aid (or willingness to train)

  • Experience as a key person

  • Commitment to ongoing professional development
