Are you a qualified Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years Practitioner looking for flexible work that fits around your lifestyle?

Veritas Education is recruiting enthusiastic, reliable and passionate Level 2 and Level 3 Childcare and Early Years Practitioners to work on a flexible daily supply basis across a range of welcoming nurseries in Wandsworth and the surrounding areas of South West London.

Whether you're looking for work throughout the week or just a few days around your existing commitments, we can offer opportunities to suit your availability. You'll also have the chance to experience different nursery environments, meet new teams and broaden your Early Years experience.

The Role

As an Early Years Practitioner, you'll work with children aged 0-5 years, supporting their learning, development and wellbeing while helping to create a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting children's learning and development through engaging, play-based activities
  • Assisting with daily routines, including mealtimes, personal care and outdoor play
  • Encouraging children's social, emotional, physical and communication development
  • Creating a safe, positive and stimulating environment for children
  • Building positive relationships with children and supporting their individual needs
  • Working collaboratively with nursery staff to deliver high-quality care and education
  • Following nursery policies and procedures to ensure children's safety and wellbeing

    We're looking for practitioners who are passionate about Early Years and committed to providing high-quality care and support.

    You'll need:

  • A Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years, Childcare or an equivalent qualification (essential)
  • Previous experience working in a nursery or EYFS setting
  • A good understanding of the EYFS framework and child development
  • A caring, patient and positive approach
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • A reliable, flexible and professional attitude
