We are currently recruiting for a Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years Practitioner to join a highly regarded nursery in the LS28 area of Leeds. With both full-time and part-time opportunities available, this role offers the chance to become part of a professional, supportive, and child-focused team within a well-established setting.

This nursery is known for providing a nurturing and stimulating environment where children are encouraged to develop confidence, curiosity, and a lifelong love of learning. The team is passionate about delivering outstanding early years education and works collaboratively to ensure every child receives the best possible start in life.

As an Early Years Practitioner, you will play a key role in supporting children's development, creating engaging learning experiences, and building positive relationships with families and colleagues alike.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality care and learning opportunities in line with the EYFS framework
  • Support children's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development
  • Plan and implement engaging activities that inspire learning through play
  • Observe, monitor, and record children's progress
  • Build strong and positive relationships with parents, carers, and colleagues
  • Maintain a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment
  • Uphold safeguarding and welfare standards at all times

    • Requirements

  • Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years or Childcare
  • Previous experience working within a nursery or early years setting
  • A genuine passion for supporting young children's learning and development
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A positive, proactive, and professional approach
  • Good understanding of the EYFS framework and safeguarding practices
