About the Role
Are you passionate about helping young children learn and grow? Veritas Education is looking for a caring and enthusiastic Early Years Practitioner (Level 2+) to join a friendly nursery team in Leeds.
You'll support children's development through play, helping them explore, learn, and thrive. Experienced practitioners may also take on key person responsibilities, building strong relationships with children and families.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver fun, play-based activities
Support children's social, emotional, and learning development
Observe and record children's progress
Maintain a safe and welcoming environment
Communicate with parents and carers
Follow safeguarding and nursery policies
Work as a team player
Requirements
Essential:
Level 2 or 3 Early Years/Childcare qualification
Understanding of child development and EYFS
Knowledge of safeguarding
Caring, patient, and positive attitude
Desirable:
Paediatric First Aid (or willing to train)
Experience as a key person
Commitment to professional development
