Responsibilities include:

Psychologists working at Western Cape College are valued for their use of professional knowledge of psychological interventions and treatments to deliver appropriate and tailored therapeutic intervention to support students' mental health concerns.

The types of duties the role includes:

  • Undertake individual and group counselling and therapeutic interventions with students, parents and families to assist them in resolving personal or relationship concerns.
  • Provide advice on diagnoses provided by external professionals and monitor students' progress.

Provisional psychologists, registrars, generally registered psychologists and psychologists endorsement (i.e., clinical psychology, counselling psychology or educational and developmental psychology) are strongly encouraged to apply!
