The Role
The Project Officer will play a key role in supporting the warehouse and logistics improvement projects and day-to-day activities. It includes coordinating the receipt, storage, and distribution of IT equipment and supplies, ensuring timely delivery to meet operational and project requirements.
This role will also assist with the development and documentation of procedures for warehouse and logistics operations to ensure efficiency and compliance with safety standards and provide support across ITSM practices such as Incident, Change and Problem management.
The Right Fit
To be successful in this role you will have many or all of the following key characteristics and attributes:
- Project Coordination: Assist in planning, scheduling, and monitoring project milestones to ensure successful delivery within agreed timeframes and budgets.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline warehouse and logistics operations. Also, participate in ITSM process reviews and contribute ideas for enhancing service delivery and operational efficiency.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with internal teams, suppliers, and external partners to ensure effective communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Collect and analyse operational data to inform decision-making and provide regular progress reports to management.
- Compliance & Standards: Ensure adherence to relevant policies, procedures, and safety standards within warehouse and logistics operations.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to maintain project integrity and continuity.
