A key part of the Capability branch is the Education Futures Institute (EFI) that delivers high-quality, evidence-informed and equitable capability development for a diverse workforce across key career stages.
The EFI provides customised and co-designed professional learning programs to meet the needs of staff located in metropolitan, regional, rural and remote locations across the state. The EFI empowers staff with the skills, knowledge and capability to excel in their role.
About the Role:
This role will be based in the EFI's new dedicated professional learning space in Brisbane CBD.
This role is integral in supporting the delivery of the EFI's quality professional learning and development opportunities for staff, educators and leaders across Queensland state education. The position will require exceptional customer service skills, along with experienced client-engagement, organisational and operational experience.
As the Project Support Officer, your role will include:
- Providing customer service and event management for professional learning.
- Supporting daily operations, booking systems, facility management, communications and promotional activities.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues, internal and external clients and stakeholders to ensure successful operations and delivery of programs.
- Welcoming, inducting and supporting presenters, guests and attendees.
- Pursuing business improvement and efficiencies.
The Ideal Applicant Will:
- Demonstrate excellence in customer service, facilities and/or events management.
- Have outstanding communication and customer service skills and positive relationships with team members, clients and stakeholders.
- Bring high level skills in problem solving, prioritisation and managing competing demands in a timely manner.
- Maintain flexibility and availability to meet the needs of the Branch.
- Enjoy working with a diverse team to deliver outcomes and make a positive impact in education.
