Your Role

The successful applicant will: 

  • Provide leadership and direction in the planning and implementation of the unit's priorities, ensuring that the outcomes are aligned to, and supportive of, the department's commitment and agenda.
  • Provide project planning and support to assist with the development and implementation of department strategic initiatives. This includes current and emerging Australian government and State government initiatives.
  • Provide high level strategic advice to senior officers of the department and other key stakeholders on issues relevant to the specific accountabilities of the role. 

The Project Manager, PBL has responsibility of the following:

  • Provide leadership and direction in the planning and implementation of Early Childhood and State Schools Division priorities, ensuring that the outcomes are aligned to, and supportive of, the department's agenda for improvement in schools. 
  • Provide high level strategic advice to senior officers of the department and other key stakeholders on issues relevant to the specific accountabilities of the role.
  • Provide high quality PBL professional learning, technical advice and ongoing coaching to support regional Principal Advisors, PBL and schools in these regions to improve learning outcomes for all students.

The Project Manager, PBL reports to the Director, Behaviour within Schools and Student Support.
