Your Opportunity:
As the Principal Project Manager you will:
- Lead and manage the ICT Project Delivery and Support teams in the provision of ICT initiatives and projects.
- Provide expertise relating to governance and control of all stages of ICT projects.
- Work collaboratively with business units through ideation, needs analysis, benefits, scope and budget estimation required to deliver successful business and project outcomes.
Your Role:
This is an ongoing permanent senior management role. You will be a Principal Project Manager with the responsibility and accountability to deliver successful ICT enabled projects to business units within the Department of Education.
Your responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Manage significant, complex and varied ICT projects.
- Be accountable for project team delivery and performance particularily in relation to Schedule, Resource allocation, Budget and Risk.
- Lead and undertake performance plans and associated activities for relevant business and project team staff.
- Manage and report project risks, issues and budget in line with ICT Project Governance.
- Provide mentoring and coaching of project management techniques, methods and systems to identifed business staff.
