About your role:

As the Program Officer you will:    

  • Undertake specialist project activities to achieve the outcomes expected of the program.
  • Oversee the development, implementation and monitoring of program plans and phases, including the coordination of the various activities   with achieving the program objectives.

Responsibilities include:

  • Support the development of communication materials (such as slide decks, publications, promotional materials, video productions).
  • Support the development of communication plans in liaison with content experts.
  • Prepare, edit and publish a range of communication content for departmental publications, newsletters, websites, social media and correspondence.
  • Work with team members and stakeholders, including the in-house graphic design team and external suppliers, to create engaging content and resources.

Our ideal applicant will have the following key attributes:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Attention to detail in the preparation of communication materials and approval documentation.
  • Comms all-rounder with the ability to work collaborative in and across teams.
  • Works collaboratively with colleagues and suppliers, such as graphic designers and videographers.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities to meet deadlines and deliver quality work in a timely manner.
  • Competency in communication tools, platforms and software including Microsoft, Adobe, Canva and Vision 6.
