Southern Cross Catholic College is a Prep to Year 12 school offering families a co-educational pathway to life-long learning. The College was founded in 1995 following the amalgamation of the Catholic primary and secondary schools in the Moreton Bay Region. The multi-campus College operates as the principal Catholic College on the Redcliffe peninsula. Our secondary campus is seeking a suitably qualified, passionate and experienced applicant for the position of Professional Assistant to the Head of Campus, Secondary.
The position is for 38hrs per week (additional hours may be required throughout the year) - Monday to Friday. This is a continuing position commencing January 2025.
To be successful in this role you will:
• Have proven secretarial skills,
• Strong communication and organisational abilities,
• Possess excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, school portals and student databases.
• Previous experience with BCE systems and procedures would be advantageous.
The successful candidate will:
• Be responsible for providing strong administrative support to the Head of Campus and Leadership team,
• Manage Secondary College Events and Functions,
• Willing to learn and take on other administrative and clerical duties as required,
• Have the ability to work autonomously, and
• Exercise a high level of discretion and confidentiality.
