About the Role:

This role will support the department's roll out of FlexiSpaces in state schools throughout the state, including providing professional guidance, designing systems, developing program resources, monitoring data, managing reporting, evaluating program outcomes and supporting schools to implement the program with fidelity to the program guidelines.

 The ideal applicant will have high level organisational skills, knowledge of, or the capacity to gain a high-level understanding of educational strategies and programs that improve student engagement and educational outcomes, demonstrated high level stakeholder engagement skills, project management experience, research skills and a commitment to partnering with schools to implement innovative, high-quality, evidence-based educational programs.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Establish productive education networks and maintain positive relationships and partnerships with team members, Regional Offices, schools and a range of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Prepare briefing materials, correspondence, submissions, papers and reports on related activities of the branch.
  • Develop, promote and facilitate the implementation of state wide policies, guidelines and practices.
  • Develop strategies and work in partnerships to embed principles and strategies for effective education in response to the needs and capabilities of learners.
  • Support relevant regional and school-based personnel to deliver programs and relevant strategies.
  • Ensure effective communication, integration, coordination and liaison occurs within the Division, across the department and with other external
  • Undertake ongoing research and analysis of contemporary issues as they impact on the education sector and students.
  • Lead and participate in project teams to undertake project planning, implementation and review.
