About the Role

The Workforce Policy and Integrity team of HR Branch plays a key role in implementing strategies and actions to mitigate risk, contribute to the management of the department's governance framework, build a strong culture, support leadership, and sustain workplace integrity. Working closely with internal stakeholders and external partners the role ensures responsiveness to current and future needs.

Responsibilities include:

  • Provide high level advice and support with respect to the development and implementation of strategic policy initiatives as they relate to workforce, with a focus on integrity.
  • Research, analyse and prepare significant policies and projects that respond to changes in the broader environment.
  • Lead engagement across the branch, the department, key stakeholders and other agencies to develop briefings, initiatives and policy.
  • Participate in and lead aspects of significant projects.
  • Contribute to the establishment of performance and accountability frameworks including indicators, measures and reporting.
