About the Role

The Principal Project Officer, Positive Behaviour for Learning/Multi-Tiered Systems of Support for Behaviour has responsibility for the following:

  • Undertake project planning, implementation and review, and the ongoing research and analysis of contemporary issues related to implementation of Positive Behaviour for Learning.
  • Prepare project management documents, briefing materials, correspondence, submissions, papers and reports.
  • Coordinate the identification, analysis, scoping, planning, implementation and evaluation of a range of PBL projects, services and activities.
  • Develop strategies in partnership with key stakeholders, business areas and providers to ensure the delivery and monitoring of agreed program outcomes and PBL initiatives.
  • Provide high level advice to the Manager, senior executives and key stakeholders, to ensure professional excellence in the design, planning and reporting of program initiatives.
  • Liaise, consult and collaborate with other work units within the department, other government departments and agencies, and relevant professional associations and networks.
