About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced educator able to use their expertise and high-level leadership to undertake project activities with a specific focus on contributing to project management, governance, communication and engagement activities for the Consent and Respectful Relationships Education (CRRE) project.
Responsibilities include:
- lead and manage delivery of CRRE initiatives with a specific focus on curriculum delivery and pedagogical practices under the P-12 Curriculum, assessment and reporting framework, and RRE initiatives detailed in the National plan to end violence against women and children 2022-2032, Queensland's plan for the primary prevention of violence against women 2024-2028, and the Fourth action plan of the Domestic and family violence prevention strategy 2022-2023 to 2025-26.
- prepare project management documents, briefing materials, correspondence, submissions, papers and reports on issues and activities related to implementation of the CRRE project
- provide high level advice to senior leaders and key stakeholders to ensure professional excellence in the design, implementation, and reporting of CRRE project initiatives
- provide subject matter expertise to develop and quality assure curriculum resources and training materials on best practice approaches to deliver RRE in a whole school approach

About You
The below items represent highly desirable qualities that the ideal candidate would possess:
- Highly organised with demonstrated capability to manage a high volume of work, meet timelines, maintain confidentiality, and work autonomously to achieve required outcomes to a high standard within set timeframes and budgets
- Comprehensive knowledge of Australian Curriculum Version 9 (particularly Health and Physical Education), Health Senior Syllabus, and systemic priorities regarding respectful relationships education, curriculum implementation, and effective pedagogical practices
- Demonstrated data collection, analysis and reporting skills
- A team player with exceptional written and verbal communication, including presentation and group facilitation skills
- Understanding of, or experience in, education context
- Adaptable, shows initiative and a keen problem solver who works towards finding effective solutions
