Baringa State Secondary College is in its seventh year of operation having farewelled the inaugural Year 12 student cohort at the end of 2025.
Positioned in the Caloundra West area, Baringa SSC has state of the art facilities to support contemporary teaching and learning practices to enable today's learners to be tomorrow's leaders.

The incoming principal requires strong strategic and instructional leadership skills to support the school community as it transitions from a new, to established school, where ongoing cycles of sustainable school improvement continue to refine systems and processes in response to new educational priorities, changing enrolment trends and evolving social and local contexts.
The successful applicant should have the skills to lead and manage the alignment of the intended to planned to enacted curriculum through the layers of leadership to continue building staff capability in line with ongoing curriculum reform and enhanced leadership practices.

- Lead the school community to develop, articulate and commit to a shared educational vision focussed on
- Providing quality learning outcomes for all students.
- Uphold the principalship as a values based, ethical and moral activity.
- Embed socially just practices in daily school life.
- Set high standards for student and staff performance.
