About the Role:

Responsibilities include, but not limited to;

  • Lead and manage the Special Education and/or Early Childhood Development Program, ensuring the delivery of high-quality support and advice for students with disability.
  • Provide expert guidance to school leadership teams, classroom teachers, and staff in developing and implementing effective reasonable adjustments and inclusive teaching practices.
  • Coordinate targeted intervention programs, case management, and specialised support for students requiring intensive, substantial, or extensive adjustments.
  • Support staff to access specialist services, professional development, and external supports, while contributing to whole-school decision making, planning, and improvement processes.
  • Develop and maintain effective partnerships with parents, government agencies, and community organisations, while managing program resources and student data systems, including disability data collection requirements.
