About Ravenswood State School

Ravenswood is a rural town in the Charters Towers Region, North Queensland. Ravenswood State School is a government primary (Early Childhood to Year 6) school for boys and girls, with 13 current enrolments.
Established in 1873, Ravenswood State School has a proud past and is committed to educating students for a smart future. We use effective teaching and learning practices which embrace the use of technology to ensure our students are well equipped to have a successful future. Our mission is to help and guide the children of Ravenswood State School to progress towards the full attainment of their potential as individuals and as future adult members of our community.
