The Principal reports to the KCEA Board and is responsible for leading the College’s strategic direction, faith culture, educational excellence and operational effectiveness across a diverse K–12 Christian learning community. This role is central to articulating and embodying the College’s mission, strengthening staff culture, partnering closely with the Board and Senior Leadership Team, and ensuring strong alignment across governance, strategy, compliance, learning and community engagement. The successful candidate will lead with pastoral wisdom, strategic acumen and a deep commitment to Christian education, while sustaining strong enrolment demand and guiding the College’s ongoing growth and development.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:
- Commitment to Christ-centred leadership, a deep understanding of Christian education, and active involvement in a local Protestant church.
- Significant experience leading strategy and driving continuous improvement in a Christian school context.
- Expertise in fostering high-quality teaching and learning, ensuring biblically grounded curriculum, and promoting excellence in student outcomes across a K–12 context.
- Capacity to build leaders and inspire a staff culture of collaboration, growth and high performance.
- Highly developed organisational and operational leadership skills in managing governance, finance, risk, compliance, staffing and resources.
- Ability to manage high level and complex wellbeing matters in a timely and effective manner.
- Exceptional relational and communication skills to engage and build strong partnerships across the whole school and wider community.
Applicants must have a right to work in Australia and be eligible for teacher registration in Western Australia, with the capacity to meet the faith and professional requirements of the role. Post-graduate qualifications in education, leadership or a related area will be highly regarded.
