About Us:
The HR function in the Department of Education is on a journey to implement a contemporary HR model based on strong partnerships with the approximately 1250 schools delivering quality education to the kids of QLD. The South East Region supports 150 schools from Logan to Coolangatta, and the ocean to the Scenic Rim.
Your Role:
The Principal HR Consultant will lead a team of HRBPs making the transition from a more traditional HR practitioner to a true strategic partner that is focused on HR strategy, including workforce planning, capability, performance and culture.
As a member of the leadership team you will have the opportunity to drive a different level of thinking within the HR team and use your influence in the business to lead innovation in a setting that has been significantly impacted by workforce issues.
Personally, you will be able to work flexibly from home, the office, a school or the local cafe.
