Your role:

As the Principal Governance Officer you will: 

  • Utilise information management and process mapping skills in a complex and dynamic technological environment.
  • Provide business and information analysis to support or improve existing and proposed solutions and procedures.

The Principal Governance Officer reports to the Manager, Governance, Risk and Compliance; Governance, Cyber and Policy Unit, Information and Technologies Branch.

Responsibilities include:

  • lead and facilitate project delivery reviews, in line with P3GP governance principles and processes, with senior stakeholders and technical leaders;
  • guide project delivery teams, and key project leaders across the department, to navigate the complex path for delivering Digital initiatives successfully
  • apply department, and relevant whole of government standards and processes to facilitate and lead engagement between the department and QGCDG with gated assurance and investment reviews
  • lead the engagement across the deparment in enhancing and growing project delivery capability and community;
  • take responsibility for guidance and direction setting to ensure the team delivers quality outcomes?
  • You'll have the opportunity to provide outstanding governance leadership and contribute strongly to successful delivery of Digital project outcomes.
