About the Role:

  • At least 5+ years' experience developing, maintaining and enhancing bespoke applications built using major technologies Microsoft SQL Server Services (Database, Reporting, Integration and Analysis) including Reporting Services (SSRS) and .NET Framework for complex, multi-tier applications in an enterprise environment.
  • Experience with performance monitoring and tuning, problem resolution and availability management for complex, multi-tier applications in a large organisation enterprise environment whilst ensuring the continuous provision of service of the database, application and integration platform environments.
  • Experience with supporting and designing Microsoft SQL databases, Microsoft SQL Reporting Services reports, Microsoft Analysis Services multi-dimensional cubes to analyse and present data for various departmental stakeholders, developing and managing database scripts to convert and fix data within operational database and managing and performing code reviews against coding standards and departmental requirements to ensure compliance.
  • Experience with business intelligence and data warehouse management techniques
  • Knowledge of the SDLC framework and process.
  • Experience providing technical leadership, analysis and advice to projects.
