Your Responsibilities
As a Principal Advisor, your key responsibilities will include:
- Participating in research and analysis of policy issues, including the collation and analysis of data and review of literature.
- Drafting and preparing briefs, submissions to government and supporting documents to assist senior executives.
- Preparing and overseeing the development of responses to Ministerial correspondence;
- Collaborating with officers across the department and external to develop proposals and policy positions.
- Managing a small team and ensuring the effective and timely responses.
- Providing secretariat support to projects and committees.
