About the Role:

Responsibilities include, but not limited to;

  • Manage, on behalf of the Executive Director, the preparation of complex reports, submissions and briefs, in accordance with the Department's processes.
  • Develop, lead and maintain key communication channels such as websites, SharePoint, newsletters and email groups
  • Provide leadership of regional operations activities and priorities and ensure the effectiveness of directorate policies, standards and procedures including Business Continuity Planning, Quarterly Risk Review, Emergency Response Planning, Operational Planning, Right to Information requests.
  • Establish and maintain effective liaison, communication and collaboration processes with Queensland state schools, together with major partners and other relevant agencies and stakeholders.
  • Oversee governance processes that manage the regions enquiries and complaints in line with the Department's Customer Complaints Management policy and procedure, including reporting and records management.
